A class action settlement involving Suntrup Ford, Inc., Southland Imports doing business as Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Hyundai, Inc., and Suntrup Buick-Pontiac (collectively the “Suntrup Auto,” “Dealers,” or “Defendants”) received final approval in the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Missouri on May 9, 2014.

Under the proposed settlement all customers who paid a Processing Fee or similarly denominated fee to Suntrup Auto as part of the purchase or lease of an automobile during the time periods outlined below (the “Class Periods”) are members of the Settlement Class and are eligible to receive settlement benefits in the form of a Voucher than can be used the same as cash for service and parts, but not for the purchase of parts without service, or toward the purchase or lease of a new or used car at the dealership where the Processing Fee was paid.

The claim filing deadline for vehicles purchased or leased from Southland Imports d/b/a Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Hyundai, Inc., and Suntrup Buick-Pontiac-GMC, Inc. was April 29, 2014. The deadline has passed and claims are no longer being accepted.

The claim filing deadline for vehicles purchased or leased from Suntrup Ford, Inc. was May 31, 2014. The deadline has passed and claims are no longer being accepted.

Vouchers are being distributed to Class Members who filed valid and timely claims in three equal distributions. The first distribution occurred on July 8, 2014 and the remaining two distributions will occur in 60-day increments thereafter. Vouchers are being distributed based on claim filing dates.
